Simply put, this dress is way too pretty to be worn only once. Since I have no traditional reason to keep the dress AND my husband won't let us get married over and over again, like I keep asking, I have decided to sell it :)
About the dress:
This Pearl/Ivory colored A-line gown is completely stunning. The bodice is encrusted with Swarovski Crystals and Diamantes that are beautifully placed in between pleated bands of Angel Satin. Scattered matching beads adorn the very end of the semi-cathedral train. It's a size 10 with a corset style bodice and lace up back. The corset top means you don't have to wear any uncomfortable undergarments and it gives really great shape without worry of anything "popping out". Since the dress has a lace up back, you can tighten it to your liking; it accentuates your natural curves and is so flattering in the tummy area. The only alterations I had done to the dress was to add the bustle. The bustle was done in a way in which the beading at the end of the train shows once it's bustled. The bustle loops are still in tact, but the buttons fell off (no damage done to the dress) and need to be replaced. Also, a few of the tiny beads at the end of the train are missing. Since the beads are so tiny and randomly scattered, it's really not noticeable; however, if you wanted, those beads could easily be replaced by a seamstress.
I absolutely adored my wedding dress (still do) and received so many compliments on our wedding day. I really hope that this dress can make somebody as happy as it made me!!
